PE & sports premium
The government provides funding to all schools to promote the health and physical activity of all children through PE and sport. Each year schools must publish how they are spending this funding on how it is benefitting all pupils. We offer a number of sporting opportunities for children throughout the year:
- Swimming for Year 3-5 in the Autumn term at Whitwick & Coalville Leisure Centre
- 2 hours of specialist sports coaching for all year groups every week.
- The opportunity to attend sports clubs such as Multi sports, Gymnastics and Forest School club.
- Key Stage 2 Football team with matches against local schools.
- The opportunity to compete in sports such as, Cross County, Hockey, Football within our Charnwood Sports Partnership Programme.
- Regular Forest School sessions.
- Leadership Coaching for our Year 5/6 children to lead and support break and lunchtime games.
